It has not been two minutes since the Volkswagen Golf R was unveiled, but that hasn’t stopped an even more hardcore Golf R Evo concept being mooted – the more focused prototype could make its debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show in April. Linking in with its assault on the World Rally Championship, VW is also analysing a potential 250hp, four-wheel-drive Polo R variant.
Mopar is introducing a group of high-performance parts for the 2013 SRT Viper, which begins production next month. Braces, coil-overs, exhaust systems and more will be available when the first car rolls off the line. A performance cross car engine X-brace will cost $3,175.
The second of Suzuki's concept trio is the Q, whch is designed for the inner-city commuter. The highly stylized all-electric quadracycle is powered by an electric motor and battery pack, the Q has a range of 50km and a top speed of just 37mph. The Q is aimed at those with a short commute, described as being "ideal for everyday journeys within a radius of about six miles" and, as such, is pitched as a comfortable commuting tool.
